Public passenger transport

Our manufacturer independent systems improve traffic flow for public passenger transport vehicles by equipping traffic lights with priority systems:

A bus approaching a traffic light automatically detects it and independently sends a signal to a server which stores the information and controls of the traffic light.   This system has two main advantages:

  • No use of permanently installed beacons for determining vehicle (bus) positions
  • Use of already existing communication equipment (TETRA digital radio devices)

Vehicle information that is stored via digital radio can also be transmitted:

  • Bus line
  • Route
  • Direction (towards next bus stop)
  • Last bus stop stopped at
  • Distance to last bus stop
  • Location and corresponding time stamp
  • Vehicle number
  • etc.
